Construction video production for Adelaide sites

Backlit Industrial makes construction video production for Adelaide sites: short cuts built for LinkedIn and Reels, testimonials, and the long-form project showcase used in sales meetings. Film happens alongside the photography on the same visit, on live crane jobs and closed-street set-ups, not in a studio. The two ads on our work page, a 20-second and a 60-second cut from the same 250T crane job, show the style: documentary, shot as the work happened, no staged handshakes.

The two ads on the work page

The clearest example of the style is the crane services work on a 250T crane job in Adelaide CBD: a 20-second cut and a 60-second cut, both filmed on the same closed-street set-up. The footage follows the actual lift, from PPE and outriggers going down through to night work under the lights, rather than a scripted walkthrough.

These are the kind of short and long cuts a video subscription is built to produce: a short-form video for social use, and a longer piece that holds up as a proper showcase of the job.

Short-form cuts for LinkedIn and Reels

Short-form video is part of every package, from two clips a month at Foundation and Growth up to four a month, close to weekly, at Platinum. These are cut for LinkedIn and Reels: a lift in progress, a piece of gear at work, a moment from the site day, sized and captioned ready to post.

Because filming happens on the same visit as the photography, short-form video doesn't need a separate shoot day or a separate brief. It comes out of the same time on site.

Testimonials and the long-form showcase

Growth and Platinum packages include a long-form project showcase each quarter, plus testimonials on a regular cadence: twice a year at Foundation, four times a year at Growth, and quarterly at Platinum. These are built for sales enablement: something to show a prospective client or a tender panel that goes beyond a photo and a paragraph.

How video fits inside the retainer

Video isn't a separate service bolted onto photography. Each on-site day is planned around what the business needs to say that month, then shot to serve tenders, recruitment, sales material and LinkedIn from the one visit. Strategy comes before the camera: what's in progress, what's reaching a milestone, who's worth profiling, then the crew shows up and captures it.

Before you enquire.

How much video do we get each month?

Short-form video is included in every package: two clips a month at Foundation and Growth, and four a month, close to weekly, at Platinum. Growth and Platinum also include a long-form project showcase each quarter.

Is the filming a separate shoot from the photography?

No. Video is shot on the same on-site visit as the photography, planned around the same priorities, so there's no separate shoot day or separate brief to organise for a project that's already being photographed.

What does the finished video look like?

Documentary style, shot as the work happens rather than scripted or staged. The crane services ads on our work page, a 20-second and a 60-second cut from the same job, show the approach we use on every site.

Can we use the video for sales meetings, not just social media?

Yes. The long-form project showcase, included from Growth up, is built for sales enablement: something to present to a prospective client or a tender panel, not just a short clip for a social feed.

Do you charge extra for travel to site?

Travel and travel-related expenses, along with site inductions, training or access requirements outside the agreed scope, may be charged separately, set out before any filming begins so it's never a surprise.
